After my wife was diagnosed with Clinically Isolated Syndrome (the precursor to clinically definite multiple sclerosis) in early 2019, treating her became the biggest focus in my life.
I knew there was more to the story than we were being told by our physicians, and I knew I had to get to the bottom of it (as much as I could) in order to prevent her condition from becoming a debilitating one.
Although we can never be sure how things will go, my wife has seen marked improvements in her health since we made lifestyle changes and we are hopeful.
This process has been eye-opening and has demonstrated to me that for many reasons physicians are simply not trained to properly treat MS, and that many of their patients are unknowing exacerbating their condition by not addressing underlying issues.
It is for that reason that I decided to start this site.
Sort Out This MS is meant to help MSers understand the mechanics of multiple sclerosis, its underlying causes, and to gain an understanding of what a proper treatment would address. It is also meant to inform physicians who are genuinely interested in treating their patients as opposed to merely treating the neurological manifestations of their patients' underlying issues.
